Sunset over Seattle

Early risers? Like wtf no. Go back to bed this isn’t colonial times we don’t have cows to milk.

Ella: This whole notion of us together, and dinner with placemats and holding hands, I don’t know, it’s just, to be quite frank, it seems a little suffocating.

Jonah: Well then, maybe you should get some oxygen!

-Brilliant zinger from Melrose Place

Well,’ they said, ‘surely you can agree to limit the number of rounds in a magazine, couldn’t you? I mean, what…how would that be problematic?’ And I pointed out, ‘Well, once you make it ten, then why would you draw the line at ten? What’s wrong with wrong nine, or eleven?’ And the problem is, once you draw that limit, uh, it’s kind of like marriage, when you say it’s not a man and a woman anymore, then why not have three men, and one woman, or four women and one man? Or why not, uh, you know, somebody has a love for an animal, uh…there is no clear place to draw the line once you eliminate the traditional marriage, and it’s the same once you, you draw a…you remove, uh, the, um, or you put, you start putting limits on what guns can be used then it’s just real easy to have laws that make them all illegal.

 Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert

A very logical explanation for why he does not support limiting the number capacity of gun magazines:

It would be dangerous to put a fixed limit on the number of rounds in a magazine, just like it is dangerous not to establish a fixed limit on the definition of marriage.

That makes sense, right?
